Did you know that you can sell products without having a website. I’m not talking about MLA companies either. An MLA company is like Pampered Chef or Plexus. There’s nothing wrong with those types of companies, but there is an endless number of things you can sell.
In order to sell products, you will need a platform in which to do that. Here are a few ideas:
- Etsy- if you like to create products, you can open an Etsy shop. It is pretty easy to do this. I have a shop where I sell mostly digital products. This way, I don’t have to worry about shipping things to people.
- eBay- you can sell all sorts of things on eBay. I like to sell homeschool books and old cell phones there, because there is a big market for it. I’ve known many people to sell clothes, thrift store finds, baby items, and much more.
- Amazon- Austin and I have created ebooks through Amazon. It doesn’t cost anything to create an ebook (a LOT of time and working through a learning curve, but no money). Also, you have the ability to sell used items on Amazon as well.
- Facebook- through community groups or your general feed, you can sell items. I have a friend that is an artist, and she takes orders for greeting cards by posting about it on her status update. Austin and I have been known to sell yard sale items through groups. There is a lot of potential there.
Don’t think that you have to put in the time, energy, and money to creating a website in order to sell. There are plenty of ways that you can sell items without having to put together a website. In fact, many marketers sell more products through other platforms than their personal websites.
What about you? Do you have any ideas of how you can sell items online without a website?
